Colin Buxton
Colin Buxton has been working in the outdoor industry for over 10 years. As well as running first aid courses under the REC banner and being a First Responder in Emergency Care he also offers kayaking and climbing courses through his other company: www.creekandclimb.org.uk.

He has always had a passion for the outdoors, from being carried on his Dad’s back through Hayfield as a toddler to first learning to kayak at Scouts. He has since gone on to study a degree in Outdoor Leadership.
His main passion is kayaking, having kayaked extensively in the UK, Alps, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy, Pyrenees and California.
He has climbed all over the UK but particularly loves the climbing in the Peak District and has also climbed in France, Spain and Cyprus.
Colin started working in the outdoors for Plas-Y-Brenin and Outward Bound and has since worked as a freelance instructor for many other companies.
